Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr Waleed bin Khalifa Al Manea has expressed gratitude to Bahrain Ship Repair and Engineering Company (BASREC) for their generous support to improve the standards of health services through partnership and community responsibility.

The undersecretary said that it is important to have bacterial toxicology testing devices available in health facilities, especially in the dialysis units in public and private hospitals to monitor the quality and safety of water used as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA).

He pointed out that the device, a valuable addition to health facilities will be used periodically in the dialysis centres at Salmaniya Medical Complex, Abdul Rahman Kanoo Center and Shaikh Abdullah Center.

Kanoo said the donation will serve patients and will contribute to the improvement of the quality and efficiency of health services.
