Bahrain welcomes Holy Month of Ramadan

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations and good wishes from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the first day of the Holy Month of Ramadan today.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect HM the King, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns.
He also prayed to protect the Kingdom, citizens and residents, in light of current conditions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
HM the King also sent a reply cable of congratulations to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, praying to protect HRH and lift the pandemic off all humanity, wishing Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations many happy returns.
Yesterday, the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA) officially announced the start of Ramadan. SCIA extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad, HRH Prince Salman, royal family, Bahraini people, as well as the Arab and Islamic nations, on the occasion.
