A student from Fatima Bint Al Khattab Primary School for Girls, Sulaf Tariq Mansour, has sent a message to the community about her positive experience in distance learning in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

“My experience in distance learning is very wonderful and unique, consistent with the time of technology in which we grew up, unlike those who preceded us, and the beautiful thing is continuing education despite all circumstances,” she said.

“The virtual classroom experience is one of the most important educational tools created by the Ministry of Education, as it is the means by which we meet with our teachers in explaining lessons and conducting group discussions as well as made all the interactive lessons in distinctive creative ways for teachers and students.

And she continued, “I can say that virtual classes are an excellent educational tool that we can use at all times, despite the challenges and circumstances that we have gone through and still are. The ministry has preserved for us the sustainability of education and our inherent right to education.” She said: “The advantages of my experience are countless because of its great and very important effects, and I have benefitted greatly from it on the personal and educational level.

We, students, have acquired the skills of self-learning, technological empowerment, teamwork, permanent cooperation between students and teachers, working as a team and improving our capabilities. And refine it always.

She concluded her message by saying: “We do not forget the efforts of the Ministry of Education in distance learning and the many lessons, activities and channels it has made and provided for students, in addition to the efforts of teachers in supporting us, encouraging us and taking our hands towards excellence.

We are all determined and insistent on the success of distance learning, and to ensure the continuation of education in our dear kingdom.”
