Bahrain police hailed for maintaining law and order, supporting progress

The legislative body has praised the Bahrain police for fulfilling their duty to maintain security and enforce the law across the country. This came as the Kingdom marks today the Bahrain Police Day, which is celebrated every December 14.
Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh hailed His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for developing the police force while ensuring their high readiness in implementing the best security practices for the benefit of the country.
For her part, Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal said that the Bahrain police is among the main pillars of the kingdom’s progress and prosperity, given the crucial role it is playing in maintaining the nation’s security and stability, as well as in supporting the comprehensive development march.
Speaker Zainal said that the Bahrain Police Day is an opportunity to honour Bahraini police personnel for their dedication and the sacrifices they are making for the sake of defending the homeland, protecting national gains and providing maximum levels of security and stability for the citizens and residents.
The Speaker lauded the great interest of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop the security system and enhance its distinguished march, adding that the Bahrain police boasts a rich record of dedication, sacrifices and redemption.
Al Saleh asserted that HM the King’s Reform Project has consolidated the crucial role played by the Interior Ministry and all its affiliates in safeguarding security and stability for the citizens and residents, which increased the achievements and successes of the Bahrain police.
In this regard, Al Saleh lauded the dedicated efforts exerted b Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to develop policing in Bahrain, protect the nation and preserve hard-won gains and capabilities. He commended Bahraini policemen’s sacrifices at various fields, constant readiness to answer the call of duty and unwavering keenness to achieve the vision and aspirations of the leadership for a nation in which everyone enjoys security and stability.
Al Saleh indicated that the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) was a new opportunity in which the Interior Ministry’s personnel showcased the best humanitarian values and noble principles to which they are committed.
He hailed their efforts in undertaking pivotal major roles such as disinfecting buildings, streets and roads, raising the awareness of the citizens and residents on the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic, and the campaigns that have encouraged all citizens and residents to engage in community partnership.
The Shura chairman also lauded the successes of Bahrain police and their contributions to various fields, including human rights through their adherence to the humanitarian values and principles for which Bahrain has always been known throughout history. Speaker Zainal lauded the constant readiness and full preparedness of the security authorities, led by Interior Minister General Al Khalifa, stressing that the efforts of the brave security personnel testify to the best manifestations of sacrifices and redemption for the sake of the nation and its people, as well as the achievement of the aspirations and visions of HM King Hamad’s leadership.
The speaker indicated that the Bahraini police personnel have set the example in their dedication in defending the nation’s achievements, institutions and property, public and private.
She pointed out that the security institution has adopted an approach aimed at promoting the state of law and institutions, through the community partnership vision announced by the Interior Minister.
