Italy keen to invest in Bahrain energy projects
Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) president Dr Abdul Hussain bin Ali Mirza received the Italian Ambassador to Bahrain Paula Amadi.
Dr Mirza praised the friendship and co-operation between Bahrain and Italy in various fields, especially renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.
He presented a visual presentation of the current and fu- ture projects and achievements made in the field of sustainable energy in the Kingdom, praising the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his interest in encouraging the use of clean energy.
He also highlighted the available investment opportunities for specialised Italian companies to contribute to these projects.
The ambassador praised the progress of implementing sustainable goals of using clean and environmentally friendly energy resources.
She expressed her country’s readiness to contribute to current and future projects, confirming Italy’s keenness to enhance co-operation between the two countries in a way that serves shared interests and as- pirations.
