Applied Science University is still accepting students for the first semester 2020/2021 with flexible payment

Applied Science University is committed to providing the best service to all its students. As we continue to accept prospective students for the first semester of the academic year 2020-2021, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Ms. Ruqaya Mohsin, encouraged students to visit the University's website to learn more about its academic programmes, enrolment procedures, students’ services, and all other facilities.

Ms. Mohsin explained that due to the exceptional situation of the global pandemic, the registration and the enrolment process for this semester would be fully electronic via the University’s official website, and this is under the recommendations of the Higher Education Council HEC.

Ms. Mohsin stated that the majors offered for this coming semester include undergraduate degrees In Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Political Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interior Design, and postgraduate degrees in Law, Commercial Law, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, in addition to the College of Engineering’s programmes through which the student can get an accredited British undergraduate degree from the London South Bank University LSBU in either Civil or Architectural Engineering.

She also pointed out that during these circumstances, the University has provided all its support to students through a set of services that will help them during their educational journey. This includes scholarships that are granted annually by the "Student Aid" for outstanding students and those who experience financial difficulties during the educational journey, in addition to the siblings’ discounts who are studying at the University and flexible payment arrangements through instalments based on the student's ability settling his/her tuition fees.

It is worth noting that the University is starting its new academic year with a series of achievements under its belt, including its recent QS World University Ranking 2021, as it ranked among 700 universities in the world; thus, becoming the first private University in the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve this superior position and making it among the world's top 150 universities under 50 years since establishment.

ASU also occupied an advanced position for Arab universities with the QS Arab Region University Rankings over the past two years, ranked 37th place, and became the only University in the Kingdom of Bahrain to receive four stars.

In the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, the University also appeared in the ranking 401+ among the best 760 universities selected from 85 countries in the world impact and achievement of Sustainable development goals.

ASU’s march toward academic excellence has also seen the University earn its institutional accreditation from the Higher Education Council, and seen it complete its institutional review by the Education and Training Quality Authority; this is followed and by obtaining the RICI Certified Management Systems for Educational Organization ISO 21001:2018 and the ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management. The University is also an accredited centre by the Higher Education Academy (HEA), United Kingdom, with recognized faculty members as fellows, senior and principal fellows of the  HEA.
