Lebanese PM rejects Hezbollah’s statements

Beirut

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) quoted the Prime Minister Tammam Salam as saying that the statements against Bahrain (by Hezbollah) do not reflect the Lebanese government’s stance nor reflect the stance of Lebanon.

He added that Lebanon’s official stances regarding its foreign relations could be expressed exclusively by the Lebanese government and it could not be voiced individually by any Lebanese political party, even if it is part of the government.

He added that Lebanon, which had suffered for a long time from interference in its internal affairs reasserts its keenness on not interfering in other countries’ affairs, mainly the Arab countries and Bahrain, in particular.
