Interior Ministry Human Resources Directorate Wins Global Continual Improvement Award

The Human Resources Directorate at the Ministry of Interior has been awarded the Global Continual Improvement Award 2025 in the Happiness and Engagement category by the Dubai Quality Group in the United Arab Emirates.

On the occasion, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, received Major-General Adel Abdullah Ameen, Assistant Undersecretary for Human Resources, and congratulated the directorate on the achievement.

Shaikh Nasser praised the efforts that led to winning the prestigious award, noting that it reflects the Ministry of Interior’s success in fostering a culture of institutional excellence and adopting best administrative practices that contribute to a positive work environment and sustainable development.

He said the achievement embodies the vision and directives of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, which focus on investing in human capital and enhancing the work environment to strengthen institutional performance and efficiency. He added that these efforts support the ministry’s ongoing modernisation and development initiatives across its various sectors.

For his part, Major-General Ameen said the award recognises the Human Resources Directorate’s continuous efforts to implement development initiatives and specialised programmes aimed at enhancing employee happiness and promoting a culture of participation and innovation.

He noted that these initiatives have had a positive impact on institutional performance and the quality of services provided.

Major-General Ameen added that the achievement was made possible through the support and directives of the Minister of Interior, the backing of the Chief of Public Security, and the continuous follow-up of the ministry’s undersecretary. He said this support has helped strengthen a culture of continuous improvement and encouraged employees to pursue excellence and achieve high levels of institutional performance.
