Genesis Donates EV Fleet to Boost Emergency Response

Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa commended Genesis Middle East & Africa for its contributions to community service and its commitment to innovation and sustainability through advanced mobility solutions that support emergency response operations.
The remarks came during a meeting with Mr. Zayed Rashid Alzayani, Chairman of Zayani Investments Group, and Mr. Rashid Zayed Alzayani, Managing Director of First Motors, the official representative of the Genesis brand in Bahrain. The meeting was attended by Chief of Public Security Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan.
At the meeting, the Interior Minister praised Genesis Middle East & Africa, represented locally by First Motors, for providing innovative and environmentally friendly mobility solutions that can offer critical support during emergency situations. He noted that such initiatives reflect a strong spirit of solidarity and commitment to supporting public safety efforts and strengthening civil protection measures.
The Minister highlighted that the company’s eco-friendly products and community-focused initiatives serve as a model for effective partnership and cooperation, contributing to sustainable development goals and reinforcing the values of social responsibility and community support.
Shaikh Rashid expressed his appreciation to Genesis for donating eight Genesis GV60 electric vehicles, which can function as additional power sources.
He emphasized that the initiative will help improve the quality and continuity of emergency services provided to citizens and residents across the Kingdom.
For his part, Mr. Rashid Zayed Alzayani thanked the Interior Minister for his continued engagement and dedication to serving the nation and its people. He affirmed that the contribution reflects the group's appreciation for the role of Bahrain Police in maintaining security and public safety, as well as its ongoing commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community service.
Also present at the meeting was Shaikh Salman bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs.
