National action march
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday received the annual report of the Shura Council and Council Representatives for the first session of the fifth legislative term. This came as HM the King received, at Al Safriya Palace, received Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and Council of Representatives Speaker Fawzia Zainal and other members, who submitted the annual report.
HM the King praised the pivotal role played by the legislative branch of government in strengthening the democratic process, consolidating its contribution to the wide-ranging development and adopting social issues. HM the King hailed Bahrain’s progress and prosperity strides, paying tribute to Bahraini families citizens and families for their dedicated contribution and support to the successful development march.
His Majesty commended the achievements of the legislative branch of government, which enabled the Kingdom of Bahrain to attain landmark strides, towards building a society based amity and mutual respect through their solidarity and cohesion.
