CBA conducts cricket tournament for sports day

An enthusiastic cricket Tournament for ladies and gents were held in National Stadium Ground, Isa town on behalf of CBA to celebrate the Bahrain Sports day on Tuesday. Two ladies and gents team participated in this tournament. The two participating ladies team showed an outstanding performance at the National Stadium Cricket Ground by playing a 10 overs tournament.

The Kannada Sangha Bahrain Team (KSB) lifted the Bahrain Sports day Tournament 2019 winner’s title. The highlights of the tournament were an exceptional game shown by KSB team as they gave a target of 76 runs in 10 overs at the loss of 4 wickets. In the 2nd innings KSB team has defeated the Noor Sports Bahrain team (NSB) by a margin of 28 runs. The NSB team made 48 runs in 10 overs at the loss of 4 wickets.

Poornima Jaagadeesh of KSB bagged the title Player of the Match. The Best Bowler was Sheethal of NSB and Best Fielder was Pavitra of KSB. In another match the Lagoona Beach Bahrain team (LBB) won the toss and Choose to field. Batting first, the Shahico Services Bahrain team (SSB) scored a total of 154 all out in 20 overs.

In reply, LBB chased the winning run 155 in 20 overs and won by 6 wickets. Younis from LBB carried away Man of the Match by taking 2 wickets and batting for 74 runs in 47balls. The Best Bowler of the tournament was given to Sameer and Best fielder was taken away by Dharmander of LBB team.
