Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company Units Hit by Drones

Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) has confirmed that several of its operational units were targeted in a drone attack in the early hours of Sunday, carried out by Iranian drones.
The company stated that the incident caused fires in multiple affected units. However, emergency response teams acted swiftly, and all fires have since been fully extinguished.
GPIC confirmed that the situation is now under control, with no casualties reported. Damage assessment teams have been deployed to evaluate the extent of the impact on the facility.
The company added that its emergency teams worked in close coordination with Civil Defence units and relevant government authorities to contain the situation and secure the site. GPIC emphasised that the safety of its workforce remains its top priority.
