Regency A defeat Diplomat Raddison

Regency Intercontinental A edged out Diplomat Radisson Blu by seven runs on the fourth day of the Fourth Inter-Hotel Charity Cricket Tournament, 2015 at the Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel and Spa recreation area. 

Batting first, Regency A were dismissed for 52 in its six overs with Yassir (14 off 8 deliveries, 3x4) and man of the match Majid being the main scorers with Deepak (two for six) the pick of the bowlers.

Diplomat Radisson in reply, were bowled out for 45 in 5.5 overs with Indrajit (14 off 11, 3x4) and Raja (11 off 10, 1x6) the top scorers and Adnan (two for none) the best of the bowlers.

IHE-Trader Vic’s 69/3 from 6 overs (Thomson 37 off 18, 3x6, 2x4, Samson 8 of 3, 1x6’, Saiful 2/13) bt Majestic Arjaan By Rotana 40/5 from 6 overs (Umar 11 off 8, 1x6, Shamil 1/3) by 29 runs.

Man of the Match: Thomson. 

Ritz-Carlton B 33/2 in 4.4 overs (Azhar 12no off 2, 2x6, Riaz 11 off 11, 1x4, Abi 1/2) bt Westin 28 all out in 5.5 overs (Amar 10 off 7 balls 1x6’, Riaz 2 for 2) by four wickets.

Man of the Match: Riaz Khan. 

Regency Intercontinental B 32/3 in 4.5 overs (Rizwan 15 off 10, 1x4, 1x6, Sanoop 2/6) bt Domain 31 all out in 5.4 overs (Chanchal 8 off 8, 1x4, Rahul 8 off 5, 1x6, Imran 2/1) by three wickets. 

Man of the Match: Rizwan.

A total of 23 teams from 21 hotels are participating and split into four groups, battling it out for the title on a daily basis with four matches from 6pm to 9pm until the semi-finals and finals on May 25.

All proceeds from the tournament are being donated to the 2015 official charity partner, the Hope Institute.
