The all-new Chery Tiggo3 – DT News Test Drive

The Chinese automobile brand, Chery whose principal products are passenger car, minivans, and SUV’s has already won the hearts of varied customers.  Launched in mid-2005, the brand Chery Tiggo, has already sold close to half a million units by the mid of August 2012, making it the most successful compact SUV produced by native makers of China. DT News got a chance to
test drive the latest Chery Tiggo 2016, which was launched at Motor City, Sanad last week. Experience the drive with us!

All new 2016 Chery Tiggo3 with its crisp counters, soft curves and lots of chrome inserting on the front grill and side claddings makes the car look beautiful with the brand. The interior design comes with the mix of two tone cabin with leather seats and the chrome accent on the steering wheel and the center console. The technological side is well-advanced; the Chery Tiggo3 is equipped with Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) and Electronic Break Force Distribution (EBD). Hydraulic Power steering, Engine immobilizer adds to the technological brilliance with front and rear fog lamps. It also comes with LED day time running light and rear parking sensor.

The interior Chery Tiggo3  gives the driver a fresh feeling with well-aligned center console  with dual Airbags ensuring the safety of both the Driver and the passenger, Automatic Air-conditioner, Steering-mounted controls for Audio system, and a six-way adjuster seats wrapped with leather upholstery.  Chery Tiggo3 is powered by a 2.0 litre 4 – Cylinder DOHC engine with a whopping 137 horsepower and the gearbox with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) technology to the front wheels with a top speed 165 kmp/h. 2016 Chery Tiggo3 comes in a decent price tag than its rivals, so it’s worth your time if you are looking for a compact SUV.

Out and about, the all new Chery Tiggo3 packs an astonishing feel. During the test drive, at about 120km towards the tree of life, Bahrain, we faced with some bumpy and gravel roads, but the Tiggo’s suspension handled it well.  It was more or less like floating along, maneuvering the bumps with ease.
