Inimitable Ride, Unquenched Zest

Manama

Passion grows out of absolutely anything. And superbikes-lover Mohd Ibrahim says the roar of motorbikes made him a biker. Sound of motorbike is music to his ears. It arouses and excites him like nothing else does.

The deep passion lead him to buying a Harley Davidson motorbike, and later, modifying it in such a way that not an eye misses the stunning designs made all over it.

His unique themed paint works also won him the award for ‘Best touring bikes- customised’ category at the Batelco Motor Show this year.

 Dirty Bird

Ibrahim gets pumped up as he talks about his partner-on-road. Resting on a 23-inch wheel, Dirty Bird is the name of the concept given to his bike. The bike has leather upholstery, and is embellished with skull-like pattern, even at the side boxes.

The bike is equipped with colour-changing lights, enhancing the overall appearance of the bike, especially at night.

 Proud owner

In an exclusive interview with DT News, Ibrahim said feels proud cruising in his bike through the streets. According to him, people glancing at his machine was what made him the happiest, and his Harley Davidson has never failed him.

“I simply love to ride the bike. Whenever I ride, I see at lot of people looking at my bike in silent appreciation. Nothing energises me more than that,” he said.

He said Bahrain is one of his favourite location for riding his Harley Davidson, but he admitted some of the congested roads and the ones that are not in good condition is a cause of concern to him. He added such roads mess up his bike badly.

 Bike shows, road trips

Ibrahim is also into bike shows and road trips. He has participated in the Batelco Motor Show a couple of time. He also regularly takes part in UAE custom bike shows.

“This year, we even had a trip to Abu Dhabi.  I like the way these guys organize an event.  On top of that, all my admiration goes to the participants, especially the youngster who takes part in these kinds of shows.  We can see how much they love their bikes and take care of them,” he said.

 Summer rides

Summers can be too hot and tiring, and many bikers prefer cool shelters during this time of the year. But Ibrahim is not one of them. Irrespective of weather and climate, He always has a penchant to ride bikes, he said.

“ However, I take extra care while riding the bikes in summer.  I really advise people who tour on bikes to be safe and use all those safety gears because safety comes first,” he said.
