Sustainable development key to private sector-led growth

Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday stressed the importance of sustainable development in developing a framework to meet citizens’ aspirations and facilitating private sector-led growth.
This came as the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Prime Minister visited the Majlises of Majlises of Al Musallam family, Al Mahmood family, and Ghanim bin Faisal Al-Buainai. Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, accompanied HRH the Crown Prince during the visits.
HRH CP told the Majlis participants that Bahrain will continue to encourage private sector-led development and help kingdom face the challenges in the region.
The growth, HRH the CP said, including that in the oil and gas sector will assist long-term growth especially in light of the recent discovery.
On housing, the Crown Prince said that Bahrain will continue to fast-track projects that provide opportunities for citizens.
 HRH CP affirmed that the Kingdom’s sustainable development plans are centred on ensuring that it benefits future generations. Prince Salman also extended his Ramadan greetings to all.
