Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the development was an important confidence-building measure, with the potential to pave the way for a comprehensive agreement that strengthens security, stability, and lasting peace across the Middle East while supporting broader international security goals.

Manama stressed that any final peace deal must include an Iranian commitment to international law, non-interference in the internal affairs of neighbouring states, and the protection of freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz — a vital artery for global oil trade.
Credit to Trump and Pakistan
The Ministry expressed appreciation for President Donald Trump's "tireless efforts" in supporting regional security through coordination with Gulf leaders. It also commended Pakistan for its constructive diplomatic mediation in bridging differences and facilitating dialogue between Washington and Tehran.
