Pakistan Club to Celebrate Pakistan Day with traditional fervour

The Pakistan Club Bahrain is celebrating Pakistan’s National Day with national zeal and enthusiasm. The Pakistan Club is one of the oldest and thriving community platforms since 1948 and has chalked out a series of events starting with the flag hoisting ceremony on the 23rd morning which is expected to attend by over 500 community members.

The Pakistani nation is celebrating the 78th anniversary of the adoption of Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23, 1940, with traditional zeal and zest. On this historic day, the Muslims of the sub-continent gathered in Lahore under the inspiring leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and adopted a Resolution, which changed the course of history.

H.E. Mr Murad Al Wazir, Pakistani Actg. Ambassador will be the Chief Guest at the flag hoisting ceremony which will be attended by prominent community members, businessmen, senior officials and students.

The Pakistan Club will be organizing and hosting a grand celebration on 23rd March at the Club premises featuring Pakistan School tableaus and national songs marking the Pakistan Day and a special poetry session to show the solidarity with the people and nation.

The Chairman Pakistan Club Engr Rehan Ahmed in a statement extended his felicitations to the community members in Bahrain and said that celebrations of such national events are an opportunity to renew our pledge to serve our beloved country honestly, diligently and working hand in hand with all national institutions and private sector for the development of the nation.

“We at the Pakistan club will continue to provide all possible assistance and help to our community members to solve their day to day problems. Numerous activities and programs for the benefit of the community members are being planned, with some already hosted.  The entire focus is to energize our community for positive actions, create platforms of interactions and commemorate important milestones of our national history”, he added.

“We thank his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the people of Bahrain for their continuous support to the Pakistan community. We are proud of our fraternal ties with the people of Kingdom of Bahrain and these ties will continue to strengthen and grow as the time passes.”

Pakistan and Bahrain enjoy fraternal ties and the bilateral relations have entered into a new era of progress and development, thanks to the leadership of both countries.

Eng. Rehan Ahmed urged the community to continue to play a pivotal role in the development of the Kingdom of Bahrain. “I pray to Allah Almighty for the well-being and prosperity of the leadership and people of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Bahrain”.
