Indian cricketer appreciates BPL 2018
Manama : Harbhajan Singh appreciated the latest initiative from the Kingdom of Bahrain in his latest message about the Coca Cola Bahrain Premier League 2018.
Harbhajan is a team member at the Indian National Cricket Team and is a specialist spin bowler. He has also made his presence in the film and the entertainment industry.
KHK Sports, in partnership with Exelon, has organised the first franchise-based T20 cricket tournament in the Kingdom of Bahrain which gave a major platform for emerging cricketers in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The initiative was praised as the first step to develop the sport of cricket in the nation and enable the youngsters a career opportunity in the field of sports.
The tournament was held under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman and Bahrain Athletics Association president HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Bahrain Premier League 2018 comprised of six franchise squads of 13 resident cricketers competing in the T20 format. Previously International cricket players.
