BIC holds Grand Prix coordination meeting

ManamaBahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, held an annual coordination meeting with representatives from the various ministries and government agencies in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The gathering took place as part of the preparations for the Formula 1 2018 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix, which takes place in less than a month’s time from April 6 to 8 in Sakhir.

In attendance were BIC Chief Executive Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa and other high-ranking officials from BIC’s different departments.

During the meeting, BIC Safety, Security and Governmental Affairs Senior Manager Beshara Abdo Beshara conducted a presentation detailing certain plans in the organisation of the race. It also included plans of welcoming guests from all over the world to the Kingdom of Bahrain, among other things.

This year’s Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix is the second of 21 rounds on the 2018 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.
