Minister lauds Civil Defence personnel
Manama : Interior Minister, Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa visited the General Directorate of Civil Defence on yesterday. He was received by Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and General Director of Civil Defence.
The minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister for the sincere efforts of civil defence teams in extinguishing the oil pipeline fire near Buri village.
He expressed thanks and appreciation to the personnel for their sincerity and professionalism in dealing with this serious terrorist crime.
The Minister hailed the distinguished performance that reflects the sense of national responsibility of civil defence personnel.
