Shop brawl: Detention of brothers extended
Manama : The High Criminal Court yesterday extended the detention of two brothers believed to have been implicated in a robbery of phones worth BD7000.
The duo, in addition to an unidentified man, attacked a mobile shop in Souq Waqef, where an Asian man was serving. It’s said that the defendants initially proposed to sell a mobile phone to the shop, but the employee refused as he was in conversation with a woman. As a result of this, the worker kicked them out, but one of them drew out a knife and they threatened him. But he was severely attacked. The culprits also caused mayhem in the shop before they fled with the phones. The robbery occurred on May 15 this year. As per the court documents, the defendants are aged between 18 and 21 years.
