Moore Stephens edge out National Trading

Manama : Moore Stephen’s edged out National Trading by one run in Group A following the resumption of matches in The Indian Club Indian Expatriates Seven-a-Side Softball Cricket Tournament at its premises in Gudaibiya following the Labour Day break.

Batting first, Moore Stephens were bowled out for 45 in six overs and then edged out National Trading after being dismissed for 44 in 5.2 overs.

In another close match in Group C, Bahrain Blues held on to win by three runs against Kewalram despite being bowled out for 36 in 5.4 overs.

Kewalram were then restricted to 33 for five on completion of six overs.

Group C action continued with Central Cafe winning by three wickets against Zarwan after the latter finished on 46 for five despite a fine knock by Arjun (30), then in reply, Central Cafe reached the target with a delivery to spare as the reached 47 for three in 5.5 overs.

The final match was in Group B as Target scored 35 for one in 4.4 overs to defeat Jai Karnataka by five wickets after the latter finished on 34 for four in six overs.
