Bahrain, Pakistan for greater ties
Islamabad : Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday held talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on boosting bilateral relations.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of Bahrain’s participation in the second Pakistan-Bahrain Business Opportunities Conference hosted by Islamabad.
Ways to boost Bahraini-Pakistani relations and cooperation in various fields were reviewed, as well as topics of joint interest.
Pakistan’s Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bahrain Javed Malik, a number of senior Pakistani officials and members of the official Bahraini economic delegation were present.
The minister praised the two countries keenness on boosting bilateral relations for achieving mutual goals and aspirations, noting the vital role of the private sector in promoting economic sector and encouraging investments in both countries.
On a different occasion, Al Ayam Board Member Rashid Al Hamer also held talks with Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad.
