70pc of the sewage project in Block 555 of Budaiya completed

Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitary Engineering at the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Khalifa Al Mansour stated the progress of the sewerage network project in Block 555 of Budaiya has reached 70 per cent. He explained the project falls within the framework of the comprehensive plan carried out by the ministry for the development of sanitation services in the Northern governorate.
Al Mansour added the project includes the extension of 510 meters from the main trunk lines and 140 meters of lateral connection to the pumping station and one in addition to the 16 inspection room, which reaches out to six houses to provide residents of Block 555 sanitation service. He pointing out 411 meters from the main lines were extended yesterday to create a pumping station.
Mansour stressed the ministry is keen to follow up on all the projects being implemented, including sewage projects to meet the needs of the citizens and residents in various regions of the Kingdom.
The Ministry calls upon residents to adhere to warning signals and follow the traffic diversions on the site during the period of implementation of the project.
It is worth mentioning the project has been laid by the Tender Board and Al Kooheji Technical Services at a cost of BD158,988.
