Majid Al Muhandis to perform live In Bahrain

Majid Al Muhandis, an acclaimed Saudi-based singer and composer born in Baghdad, will perform live at the Bahrain National Theatre as part of the exciting cultural programmes organized by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiques (BACA).

The event is scheduled to take place on July 21, at 8 pm and tickets will soon be available at Virgin Mega Store.

 Majid started his career with the song “Moshkela” and later gained popularity with  “Ala Modek”  and “Waheshni Moot.” The two songs helped him garner a wide fan base both in Iraq and also across the Arab region.

He later grabbed Rotana Audio and Visual’s attention by appearing in the ‘Talk of the Town” show. Later they started joint ventures by signing “The Contract.”

 Majd has sung several songs composed by prominent artists including AbdelRab Idris, Mohammad Abdo, Rabeh Sakr and Khathem Al Saher.

In 2012, he released the album “Ana Wayyak” at the Royal Albert Hall London, which went on to become a great success. 

Later he released four video clips of the songs that appear in his latest album “Saharni Halaha”, “Ana Wayyak” and “Leit Lee” and “Ana Hanet”, which won audience admiration.

Majid won many awards including an award at the 6th International Video Clips Oscars Festival for “Waheshni Mot VC”, Best Singer Award in “Zahrat Al Khalij” Mag Referendum, Murex D’Or Award for best Arab Singer, and Murex D’Or Award for best Arab Singer.

He is popularly known among his fans as Prince of Arabic Singers.
