RedX Bahrain beat Al Andaleeb

Manama : RedX Bahrain defeated Al Andaleeb by 95 runs in the latest matches of the Sprite Sponsored BCL Premier League T20 at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.

Batting first, RedX Bahrain managed to score a huge 208 for five in 20 overs thanks to fine knocks by Rafi (62 off 21 deliveries, 3x4, 6x6), Safdar (47) and Saqib (34) with Zahid (two for 25) the best of the bowlers. In reply, Al Andaleeb were restricted to 113 for nine in its 20 overs with Babar (three for 14) thepick of the bowlers.

In another match, Union Security beat Strikers by 17 runs after scoring 180 for eight in 20 overs with the main scorers being Junaid (67) and Atif (54) with Sameer (three for 43) the best of the bowlers. In reply, Strikers were dismissed for 163 despite decent efforts by Shukoor (52) and Sameeer (22) with Junaid (three for 25) the pick of the bowlers.
