Attempt to murder cop: Man loses nationality
Manama : The Supreme Appeals Court has upheld stripping the nationality of a Bahraini man convicted of attempting to murder police officers.
The defendant is said to have fired several shots at police officers on March 22, 2015 in Sitra, injuring one of them.
He was also charged with using weapons and possessing arms for terrorism purposes.
Based on technical evidences and prosecution witnesses, the defendant was earlier sentenced to 15 years behind bars.
