Nicky Park was extremely happy with her score on the back nine and jokingly said that perhaps her success was due to the 18 holes of golf played earlier in the day at a charity event.
Runner up Essa Al Qutami (68, 63) lost on countback to Medal Winner Diab S Al Noaimi (68, 65) in Flight 1.
The competition sponsors offered a hole-in-one prize of a brand new Mercedes A250 Sport on offer for anyone achieving the feat on the eighth hole, which was not claimed. Some competitors claimed fantastic prizes with Peter O’Brien, Abdulla Al Hajji and Jac Parker all near the pin on holes 6,14 and 4.
