BTA signs Syrian coach
Manama : Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA) announced the signing of Syrian coach Ghanim Al Badawi to the Bahrain National Triathlon team. The move comes as part of BTA’s efforts promote new talents to compete on the international level.
BTA President Shaikh Saqer bin Salman Al Khalifa said the appointing of Al Badawi is consistent with directives of Supreme Council for Youth & Sport Chairman, Bahrain Olympic Committee President & Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) ChairmanHH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Al Badawi is well recognised by the International Olympic Committee in the fields of swimming, cycling and running. He has also represented the Syrian National Cycling Team.
