Man hit by car in Janabiya
Manama : An aged Bahraini man allegedly lay on the road for nearly 20 minutes after being hit by a car driven by a young Bahraini woman.
The accident happened near the Al Jazira Supermarket at Janabiya at around 10 am.
According to witnesses, no one was ready to even touch the victim who lay on the road, under the hot sun without even a drop of water.
The ambulance apparently was able to arrive at the scene only by 10.20am due to traffic block.
People were scared to even administer first - aid to the injured man due to earlier reports that only the police or paramedics are authorized to attend to an accident victim.
The woman who drove the car was visibly shocked and was crying uncontrollably.
