Independence Day: Celebrating Pakistan with Pride and Unity

On the proud occasion of the 79th Independence Day of Pakistan, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Pakistanis around the world, particularly our vibrant Pakistani community in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The 14th of August reminds us of the historic struggle and immense sacrifices that led to the creation of Pakistan in 1947 under the visionary leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. As we proudly raise our national flag, we must also renew our commitment to the values of unity, discipline, integrity and service to our nation.

Overseas Pakistanis have always played an important role in Pakistan's progress while serving as ambassadors of our country abroad. The Pakistani community in Bahrain has a proud history of contributing to the Kingdom's development while preserving its strong connection with Pakistan, its culture and traditions.

On this special occasion, we express our sincere gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and to the Government and people of Bahrain for their continued hospitality, friendship and support towards the Pakistani community.

Pakistan and Bahrain share longstanding brotherly relations based on mutual respect and cooperation. The Pakistan Club Bahrain remains committed to strengthening these bonds while promoting unity, community welfare and our rich Pakistani heritage.

As we celebrate our independence, let us remember the sacrifices of our forefathers and inspire our younger generations to contribute towards a peaceful, progressive and prosperous Pakistan.

May Pakistan continue to progress and prosper, and may the friendship between Pakistan and Bahrain grow ever stronger.
