Royal Order Names 33 Judges, Prosecutors to Key Judicial Posts

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has issued a Royal Order appointing 33 judges and public prosecutors to various courts and the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The appointments include 31 men and two women—Noor Abdullah Shehab Ahmed and Noora Jamal Al Sayed Mohammed Al Mualla—who have been appointed as Heads of Public Prosecution (Category B).

Under the Royal Order, Judge Wajeeh Al Sayed Ahmed Al Shaikh was appointed as a judge at the Court of Cassation, while Judge Maamoun Al Sayed Abdulhadi Mohammed and Judge Hatem Mostafa Mohammed Al Sayed were appointed as Presidents of the High Civil Court of Appeal.

The order also included the appointment of several officials to senior judicial positions, including Heads of Public Prosecution (Category A) and Presidents of the High Civil Court.

Among those appointed as Heads of Public Prosecution (Category A) are Khalid Ahmed Abdullah Al Tamimi, Judge Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Saleh, Judge Dr. Ali Mohammed Ahmed Al Jazzaf, Ahmed Kamel Mohammed Al Qurashi, Mohammed Ali Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Hassan Ahmed Hassan Al Muhaiza, Ahmed Jamal Saif Al Qallaf, Judge Isa Sami Ahmed Al Manaei, Ibrahim Isa Ali Al Banjasim, Judge Amer Abdulwahab Al Amer Al Hazani, Judge Nasser Ibrahim Mohammed Al Buainain and Abdullah Salah Salem Al Dhowadi.

The Royal Order also appointed several Deputy Judges at the High Civil Court and Heads of Public Prosecution (Category B) with the rank of Deputy Judge at the High Court.

The appointments further included Judge Mohammed Shaheen Isa Al Hiyi Al Nuaimi as a Judge of the High Civil Court (Category B).

In addition, Shaikh Juma Tawfiq Juma Al Dosari was appointed Deputy Judge at the High Sharia Court of Appeal (Sunni Circuit).

Shaikh Dr. Mohammed Fouad Mohammed Al Kuwari and Shaikh Dr. Yasser Mohammed Ibrahim Sayadi were appointed as judges at the High Sharia Court (Sunni Circuit), Category A, while Shaikh Hassan Mohammed Jafar Al Saeed and Shaikh Mohammed Ali Hussein Al Oraibi were appointed as judges at the High Sharia Court (Jaafari Circuit), Category A. 

The Royal Order forms part of Bahrain’s continued efforts to strengthen the judicial system and enhance the efficiency of courts and prosecution services.
