Bahraini Referee Hani Shams Selected for West Asia Wheelchair Basketball Championship
The Bahrain Paralympic Committee has nominated Bahraini wheelchair basketball referee Hani Mohammed Salman Shams to officiate at the 10th West Asia Clubs Wheelchair Basketball Championship, which is being held in Jordan from July 13 to 19. The nomination follows an official invitation from the tournament's organising committee for the Ajyal Al Ghad Championship, hosted by Ajyal Al Ghad Club for Persons with Disabilities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Shams was chosen in recognition of his extensive experience, technical expertise, and outstanding contributions to wheelchair basketball officiating. His appointment reflects the Bahrain Paralympic Committee's continued commitment to supporting and developing national refereeing talent while strengthening the Kingdom's presence at regional and international para-sport events.
