BOC’s Askar meets ASF President

 Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) general secretary Abdulrahman Askar asserted that Bahraini officials’ overseas posts underlines their outstanding reputation, experience and abilities to lead international organisations in the field of sports management.

This follows a meeting with President of the Bahrain and Asian Shooting Federations Shaikh Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa at the committee premises in Seef.

Askar congratulated Shaikh Ali on winning the Asian Shooting Federation (ASF) presidency and noted that this achievement is an evidence of the federation trust in his abilities to develop shooting on the Asian continent.

Askar also expressed pride on behalf of the BOC, headed by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for Shaikh Ali’s new post.

The BOC general secretary extended the committee’s commitment to providing all the assistance to the ASF to implement its activities and programmes the best way.

Shaikh Ali thanked the BOC for backing national sports figures and keenness to provide ideal conditions for regional, continental and international federations based in Bahrain and to represent his country in the best way and lead the federation to progress and success.
