Bahrain Eyes Streamlined Government Procedures

Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, received the President and Board Members of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), reaffirming the ministry's commitment to deepening cooperation with the private sector.

The minister described the private sector as a key driver of sustainable development, stressing that BCCI serves as a strategic partner in strengthening Bahrain's business and investment environment.

The meeting was also attended by Eng. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs, and Eng. Asim Abdullatif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth, alongside BCCI President Nabeel Khalid Kanoo and board members.

Accelerating Transactions

Discussions covered areas of mutual interest. Both sides explored ways to improve procedural efficiency, speed up transaction processing, and raise the standard of government services to support Bahrain's development goals.

Kanoo expressed appreciation for the meeting, underlining its importance in strengthening coordination between the ministry and the chamber.

On the sidelines, BCCI board members toured the historic Manama Municipality building and visited the Municipal Exhibition, which chronicles the evolution of municipal work and key milestones across Bahrain's development journey.
