EWA Improves Digital Service

The Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) has enhanced its internal water connection inspection service as part of ongoing efforts to improve public services and advance digital transformation in Bahrain.

The upgraded service simplifies the process for obtaining the no-objection certificate (NOC) required for electricity connections to new buildings. It now takes only three steps and is fully available online.

EWA has reduced the processing time from five working days to two, cut required documents by 50%, and shortened the service-level agreement timeframe by at least 25%. The improved system also offers a simplified digital application process to enhance user experience.
