RHF Signs Deal for New NCST Branch in Muharraq

Expansion aims to equip Bahraini youth with future-ready skills

The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), and Kooheji Foundation have signed a cooperation agreement to fund, develop, renovate and equip a new branch of the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology in Muharraq Governorate.

The new facility will be located at the Bahrain International Investment Park and is designed to provide an advanced educational and training environment, strengthen sustainable vocational and technical programmes, and introduce a specialised hospitality and hotel management training programme.

Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Eng. Ebrahim Dalhan Al-Doseri, highlighted the continued support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the development of Bahrain’s education sector. He also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the RHF Board of Trustees, for championing the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology and supporting the growth of its educational and training initiatives.

Al-Doseri said the agreement reflects RHF’s commitment to supporting high-quality educational projects that prepare and empower young Bahrainis to contribute to the Kingdom’s development. He noted that the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology, launched by the Foundation in 2014, has become one of its flagship development initiatives.

He added that the new Muharraq branch marks an important phase in the centre’s expansion strategy, enabling more students and young people to benefit from specialised training programmes while strengthening efforts to nurture national talent.

Al-Doseri also expressed appreciation to Kooheji Foundation for supporting the project, describing community partnerships as essential to advancing sustainable educational and development goals.
