Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, conducted an inspection tour of Salman Industrial City in Hidd, where he visited companies under Kingdom Group, part of “New Holding,” officials said.
The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting the industrial sector and strengthening its role in sustainable economic development, supply chain resilience and national competitiveness.
During the visit, senior officials from Kingdom Group received him, including its vice chairman, group managing director, chief executive officer and operations manager.
Minister Fakhro stressed the importance of developing local industries, increasing production capacity and enhancing industrial security, while supporting efforts to improve efficiency across the sector.
He was briefed on the group’s operations, expansion plans and upcoming projects, and toured production facilities to review manufacturing processes, quality standards and operational performance.
Company officials reiterated their commitment to supporting Bahrain’s industrial development goals and improving productivity in line with national economic priorities.
New Holding oversees a diversified portfolio of industrial and construction companies in Bahrain, operating across sectors including asphalt, cement, concrete, ready-mix, sand washing and chemical solutions through a centralized governance structure.
