Bahrain Studies Center Participates in Arab-Chinese Partnership
Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies, participated in the Arab-Chinese Partnership Conference held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo.
The high-level forum, organised by China’s Xinhua News Agency in partnership with the Arab League, brought together officials, media representatives, and heads of research and think tanks from Arab countries and China.
During a session titled “Think Tanks and Building a New Vision for Inter-Civilizational Learning,” Abdullah Mohammed Ahmed stressed the important role of media and research centres in promoting moderation, strengthening communication between peoples, and encouraging openness to different cultures and civilizations amid growing global challenges and conflicts.
He highlighted the continuous development of Bahraini-Chinese relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries in 1989, based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation.
The participation also reflected the growing strategic partnership between Bahrain and China following His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s visit to China in May 2024 and participation in the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum in Beijing.
Officials said the partnership aims to expand cooperation across political, economic, investment, educational, and cultural sectors while supporting regional peace, security, and stability.
