Scholarships described as key to preparing future national talent

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa met the 27th intake of the Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) at Riffa Palace, alongside their parents and members of the programme’s board.

He said that investing in Bahraini youth through scholarships and academic support remains central to preparing future generations to support the country’s long-term development under HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Crown Prince congratulated the students on their selection, commending their “dedication and excellence” and noting that their achievements reflected the “ambition and capabilities” of Bahraini citizens.

He also praised parents for supporting their children’s education and wished the students success in their academic and professional journeys.

The Crown Prince also thanked CPISP staff and partner institutions for supporting the programme since its inception.

The 27th intake of scholarship recipients includes students from various schools in Bahrain and abroad. These students expressed gratitude for the programme, stating that it encouraged them to pursue academic excellence and contribute to national development.

Recipients

The recipients of the 2026 Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) include Aaya Mohamed Merza Ashoor from Arabian Pearl Gulf School, Ahmed Hussain Sameer Abdulrahman from Hawar International School, Ali Husain Ali Mahdi, Carma Khalid Naji El Ali, Hussain Fareed Hamza Rahimi and Omid Hasan Ghulam Abdali from St. Christopher’s School, Dana Hassan Ali Al Saffar from Jidhafs Secondary Girls School, Dana Mohamed Radhi Al Qumaish and Sayed Yousif Sayed Adnan Al Mousawi from The British School of Bahrain, Hasan Ammar Mohamed Al Saad from Bahrain School, Jena Salman Ali Al Sairafi from the International School of Geneva, Mariam Ahmed Mahdi Alghanemi from Saar Secondary Girls School, Mohamed Adel Mohsen Abdulla Mohsen from Nasser Centre for Science & Technology, Nabeel Abdulnabi Jawad Ali Jasim from Shaikh Isa Bin Ali Secondary Boys School, Ronin Abdulla Salman Ahmed from Ahlia School, Sarah Hussain Mahdi Al Jaidoom and Yousif Khalid Abduljabbar Al Awadhi from Ibn Khuldoon National School, and Yousif Yaqoob Yousif Ahmed from Al Taawon Secondary Boys School.
