Unity Against Betrayal, Says Shaikh Salman

Finance and National Economy Minister, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, said remarks by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa reflect the “true sentiments” of the Bahraini people and underscore national unity in safeguarding the kingdom’s security and sovereignty.

The minister said the king’s statements to the media demonstrated a firm national stance that places the country’s interests, stability, and security above all else, highlighting solidarity in confronting any attempts to undermine the state. He added that the king’s reaction mirrors the collective sentiment of the nation.

He noted that the monarch’s strong position against “aggression” reflects a deep national awareness that such actions target not only Bahrain’s security but also its development achievements and future aspirations.

The minister praised the role of Bahrain’s armed forces and state institutions, saying they acted efficiently to protect national gains and ensure the safety of citizens.

He also said the incident had “exposed those who colluded against the state,” stressing that failure to condemn or attempts to justify such acts amount to clear betrayal. He urged all beneficiaries of the nation’s progress to uphold their responsibility in defending its interests.

The minister added that the king’s remarks serve as a national reference point, reaffirming that Bahrain’s strength lies in the unity of its people and their support for the leadership, under the direction of HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who continues to focus on development, stability, and prosperity.
