The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has announced that the kingdom’s air defence systems continue to confront successive waves of aerial attacks, reportedly involving Iranian-launched missiles and drones targeting Bahrain.

According to the BDF, its air defence units have successfully intercepted and destroyed 188 missiles and 445 drones aimed at the Kingdom since the beginning of the strikes.

The command praised the high level of readiness and operational efficiency demonstrated by its personnel, stressing that their continued performance reflects strong combat preparedness and ensures that Bahrain’s airspace remains protected. The General Command also urged all citizens and residents to exercise maximum caution, stay away from affected areas, and refrain from touching any suspicious objects.

Furthermore, the public is advised not to photograph military operations or debris sites and to avoid spreading rumours, emphasizing the importance of relying only on official sources and government media outlets for verified information and updates. The BDF added that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian areas and private property constitutes a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter, describing such attacks as a serious threat to regional peace and security.
