Bahrain Cabinet Condemns Iranian Aggression

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired an extraordinary Cabinet meeting today at Gudaibiya Palace to review regional developments and national preparedness.
During the session, the Cabinet strongly condemned what it described as hostile Iranian aggression, emphasizing the importance of adhering to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817. The resolution calls for an immediate halt to attacks targeting Arabian Gulf states and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, while reaffirming the right of affected nations to defend their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Cabinet praised the readiness and coordinated efforts of Bahrain’s national institutions, including the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, and the Ministry of Interior. It highlighted their role in maintaining security, stability, and effectively responding to recent developments.
Recognition was also extended to Team Bahrain across various sectors for their professionalism and dedication in addressing challenges and ensuring continuity of services.
The Cabinet expressed pride in the unity and solidarity demonstrated by citizens and residents under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
In the context of regional diplomacy, the Cabinet welcomed the outcomes of His Majesty’s recent meetings with King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein and Abdel Fattah El Sisi. These engagements were noted as important steps in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing joint cooperation between Bahrain and both Jordan and Egypt.
The Cabinet further expressed appreciation to GCC countries and allied nations for their continued cooperation and support. It underscored the importance of international solidarity and diplomatic engagement in addressing ongoing regional challenges and upholding international law.
