Bahrain and U.S. Discuss Regional Security in High-Level Call
A telephone call was held between HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and Marco Rubio, secretary of state.
During the call, both sides reviewed the latest developments related to Iran’s hostile attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, and the wider region. They strongly condemned these attacks and the ongoing escalation, emphasizing that such actions represent clear violations of national sovereignty, international law, and established global norms.
The discussion also highlighted the longstanding and historic relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States. Both parties reaffirmed the strength of bilateral ties, noting continued progress in cooperation and coordination across multiple sectors.
They further praised the advancement of joint efforts under existing strategic partnerships and agreements, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing collaboration in support of regional stability and security.
