HM King Reaffirms Bahrain’s Commitment to Peace and Stability

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, paid a visit today to the Ministry of Interior.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was received by General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, along with senior ministry officials.

During the visit, His Majesty praised the Ministry of Interior’s vital national role in strengthening security and stability and safeguarding the country’s achievements. The King expressed appreciation for the dedication and continuous efforts of security personnel in carrying out their national duties with competence, discipline, and responsibility. He commended their high sense of patriotism in protecting society and ensuring the safety of citizens and residents across Bahrain, noting that the Bahraini people highly value their noble efforts.

His Majesty also highlighted the importance of coordination and joint cooperation between the Ministry of Interior, the Bahrain Defence Force, the National Guard, and other military and security agencies. He emphasized that such collaboration plays a central role in reinforcing the national security system and consolidating stability, reflecting a unified national approach based on shared objectives and integrated efforts to protect the homeland and its resources.

The King reaffirmed Bahrain’s firm position in condemning the unprecedented and unjustified attacks targeting the Kingdom, as well as other Arab and friendly nations, by Iran. He stressed that Bahrain has always been, and will remain, a nation of peace that does not seek hostility, but rather follows the path of cooperation and good neighborliness.

His Majesty also expressed appreciation to the Minister of Interior for his sincere efforts in leading development and modernization across the ministry’s departments, and praised the dedication of officers, non-commissioned officers, and personnel in fulfilling their noble security mission, contributing to national stability and supporting Bahrain’s comprehensive development.

The King affirmed that Bahrain will continue, with divine support, to be a haven of security and safety, advancing steadily in its development journey through the unity, cohesion, and loyalty of its people. He commended the honorable role of security personnel in protecting the nation and strengthening its stability.

For his part, the Minister of Interior expressed pride in the loyalty of the Bahrain Police to His Majesty the King, affirming their continued commitment to dedication, sacrifice, and professionalism in serving the nation. He emphasized that Bahrain Police remain steadfast in upholding the rule of law as a foundation for security and stability.

The Minister reaffirmed that the ministry will continue to safeguard national security and address evolving challenges effectively. He added that the Bahrain Police renew their pledge of loyalty to His Majesty, under the support and guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in line with their ongoing legacy of achievement and service to the nation.
