The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) announced that, by the grace of God and the vigilance of its personnel, its air defense systems continue to successfully counter successive waves of hostile Iranian attacks. Since the start of the aggression, the BDF has intercepted and destroyed 95 missiles and 164 drones targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The General Command expressed pride in the advanced combat readiness and alertness of its personnel, highlighting the operational excellence that ensures the protection of the nation. The BDF emphasized that the Kingdom’s skies remain secure, providing reassurance and confidence to the public.
Authorities urged residents to stay indoors, venture outside only when absolutely necessary, exercise maximum caution, avoid damaged areas, refrain from approaching suspicious objects, and not record military operations or debris sites. The public is also advised to avoid spreading rumors and to rely solely on official sources and government media for updates and warnings.
The BDF stressed that the use of ballistic missiles and drones to target civilian areas and private property constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter, and these indiscriminate attacks pose a direct threat to regional peace and security.
