Tehran: Fuel distribution in Iran’s capital has been temporarily disrupted after US and Israeli strikes targeted oil depots in and around the city, authorities confirmed on Sunday.

Tehran’s governor, Mohammad Sadegh Motamedian, told the official IRNA news agency that damage to the fuel supply network was responsible for the interruption. Authorities are reportedly assessing the situation and working to restore normal fuel distribution as quickly as possible.

No immediate reports of casualties have been released. The strikes come amid rising tensions in the region, impacting Iran’s critical energy infrastructure.
