UK advises nationals in Gulf to ‘shelter in place’ London

The United Kingdom’s Foreign Office yesterday urged British nationals in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to “shelter in place” amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
In an updated advisory posted on X, the Foreign Office said it now advises against all but essential travel to the four countries.
It further instructed British citizens currently in those states to remain where they are and register their presence with the authorities.
The advisory comes as regional security concerns continue to intensify
