“Fael Khair” Initiative Supports Families Ahead of Ramadan

The General Directorate of Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Penalties, in coordination with the Northern Governorate and with the support of the Capital and Southern Governorates, has distributed Ramadan food baskets to families benefiting from the “Fael Khair” programme.

The campaign aims to strengthen community partnership and promote the values of national belonging and social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Directorate expressed appreciation to the Capital and Southern Governorates for their cooperation and continued support, which contributed to the success of the humanitarian initiative.

The distribution also saw the participation of several beneficiaries of alternative sentencing programmes. The Directorate said this reflects its commitment to supporting social reintegration efforts, promoting responsible citizenship, and encouraging positive community involvement.

Officials added that the initiative embodies the principles of generosity and charitable giving associated with Islamic values, while reinforcing social cohesion across the Kingdom.

The Ramadan campaign forms part of a broader series of community and humanitarian programmes aimed at supporting families in need, assisting indebted individuals, and promoting a culture of giving on various national and religious occasions.
